Frank Kovatch of Uniontown, Ohio went to his rest and reward on June 3, 2010. Born in Massillon, Ohio on August 16, 1924, the 11th of 16 children born to John and Eva Kovatch, (immigrant parents from Slovakia). Frank realized his dream and brought honor to his family name by forming Kovatch Castings Incorporated in 1976, a successful manufacturing company to Aerospace, Military and Commercial Markets. Frank was active in many organizations, a few of which include The Chapel in Akron, past president of Gideon’s International (South Akron Camp), Christian Businessman’s Organization, founder and past president of Massillon Southeast Hill Gang, past president of Summit County Machine Shop Group, 32nd Degree Mason, and too many more to mention. Proceeded in death by second wife Marilyn in 1999 and first wife Ruth in 1972, as well as his son Kenneth in 2005. Survived by sons Douglas (Vicki), Thomas (Patty), daughter-in-law Susan (Kenneth), grandchildren: Chad, Andrea, Shaina and Makaela. Step Children: James, Phyllis, and Michael. The family will receive friends at the Arnold-Lynch Funeral Home, 1100 Wales Road NE (RT 241), Massillon, Ohio 44646, on Tuesday July 6th from 2 to 7 P.M. Additional calling hours on Wednesday July 7th from 10 to 11 A.M. A memorial service will be held at 11 A.M. at the funeral home with Pastor Jerry Butcher of Crossroads Community Church, Doylestown, Ohio officiating.
