Frank J. Lukowski

Frank J. Lukowski, 98, of, Canton, passed away January 15, 2017 at The Pines in Canton, Ohio. He was born September 27, 1918 in Brooklyn, New York to William and Stella (Slapkowski) Lukowski. Frank married Cora Gulick on November 17, 1951. She passed away December 6, 2016. Frank retired from Riegel Paper Mill in Milford, New Jersey after many years of service. He was very proud to have been a member with the Frenchtown Volunteer Fire Department in New Jersey. Frank was also a member of the Westbrook Park United Methodist Church in Canton. He will be deeply missed by his daughter, Maryann (Mark) Hogenboom of Naperville, IL; sons, Thomas (Melissa) Lukowski of N. Canton, OH and Frank (Joan) Lukowski of Alden, NY; grandchildren, Amy, John, Deborah (Andrew), Laura (Mike), Eric, Alex and Kyle; great-granddaughter, Madison ;sister, Stella ( Joe) Hindak of Inverness, FL. In addition to his parents, Frank was preceded in death by his loving wife of 65 years, Cora, brothers, Henry and Walter Lukowski and sister, Agnes Krych. In keeping with his wishes, cremation has taken place and services will be private. Memorial Contributions may be made to Westbrook Park United Methodist Church, 2521 12th Street NW, Canton, Ohio 44708.
