Frank Bai, Jr., 76, passed away peacefully at home on February 19, 2017, following an extended illness. He was born in Bergholz on May 9, 1940 to the late Frank and Eva (Nieder) Bai, Sr. Frank was a veteran of the United States Army and retired from East Ohio Machinery in 2005. He had a strong faith in the Lord and a huge love of family. He played chess, loved hunting, fishing, flying model airplanes and spending time in the outdoors. He is survived by his wife, Cheryl (Moore) Bai, whom he married on March 4, 1967; their two daughters, Lisa Reneé Bai and Christine Ann Bai both of Knoxville, TN; three sisters, Helen Johnston, Veronica Gaylog Neel and Kathryn Bryan; and numerous nieces and nephews. He was also preceded in death by his son, Bruce Matthew Bai; and four sisters, Julia Savona, Clara Kacsur, Nellie Cieszkowski and Anna Bai. Friends may call at the Paquelet & Arnold-Lynch Funeral Home, Massillon on Thursday, February 23, 2017 from 4:00pm – 7:00pm and on Friday, February 24, 2017 from 10:00am-11:00am with a funeral service to be held at 11:00am. Burial will follow in North Lawn Cemetery.
