Frances Riffle

Frances E. Riffle, age 86, of Massillon passed away Tuesday morning August 25, 2009 at Country Lawn Care Center. She was born September 29, 1922 in Ohiopyle, PA the daughter of the late Charles E. and Rosalee (Golden) Lee. Frances was retired from Timken-Mercy Hospital Central Sterilizing Department and in previous years had been employed by the Perry-Faye Defense Plant. On February 21, 1946 she married Thomas Riffle Sr. He preceded her in death September 25, 1999. Frances is survived by daughter Sara Polen of Canton; five grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; a sister Mildred Miller of Franklin, PA. Along with her parents and husband she was preceded in death by a son Thomas Riffle Jr. November 16, 2006. Visitation will be Friday August 25, 2009 from 11:00 A.M. to 12:00 P.M. followed by funeral services at 12:00 P.M. at Paquelet Funeral Home 1100 Wales Rd. NE. Interment will follow in Massillon Cemetery. Memorial contributions in Frances’s memory may be given to the Alzheimer’s Association.
