Frances Juanita Dennison

Frances "Fran" J. Dennison, age 89 went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, May 02, 2015. She was born on May 11, 1925 in Massillon to the late John and Susan Clendening. She was a 1944 graduate of Washington High School. She was married to Robert Dennison for 36 years until his passing in 2003. Fran worked as a LPN at the Massillon State Hospital for 30 years until her retirement. Fran loved to travel, play cards was an avid bowler and enjoyed life to the fullest. She will forever be remembered as a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend to everyone who knew her. Her memory will forever be cherished by her children John Ransom, Sharon Ransom Henderson and Michele Brooks Crofut; her grandchildren Jonathan, Corrine, Lon, Chris, April, Kolette and Rochele; 15 great grandchildren; her brother Robert (Carol) Clendening as well as a host of relatives and friends. In addition to her husband Frances, was preceded in death by her grandson Michael Crofut, 7 brothers and 5 sisters. A Homegoing Celebration will be held at St. James AME Zion Church in Massillon on Friday, May 08, 2015 at 11AM Pastor Roslyn Mitchell-Martin and Pastor Jerry Evans will be officiating.
