Frances Gemma

Frances Gemma, age 82 of Massillon, passed away May 1, 2011 at Hanover House. Frannie was born May 9, 1928 in Canton to the late Ernest & Mary (France) Gemma and was a graduate of Beach City High School. She retired from the Alibi. Frannie will be remembered as a welcoming person with a positive attitude and a heart of gold. She would share whatever she had with anyone. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Theresa Grove (2007). Frannie is survived by a sister, Virginia Dziegeleski of Canton and two brothers, Ernest & Dora Gemma of Jackson Twp. and Richard & Valerie Gemma of Beach City. There are a number of nieces and nephews. A Mass of Christian Burial will be 10 AM Thursday at St. Joseph Catholic Church, her pastor Fr. Raymond Paul will officiate. Burial will be at Calvary Cemetery. Friends may call Wednesday from 6-8 PM at the Paquelet Funeral Home in Massillon. Memorials can be sent to the Soup Kitchen at St. Joseph’s Church.
