Frances D. Butler

Frances D. Butler, 102, of Perry Township, passed away on Friday, September 13, 2024. Frances was born on December 27, 1921, in Cleveland, OH the daughter of the late Fred and Amelia (Fedrau) Patch.

She was a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She had a strong love for animals. Frances enjoyed cooking for many family gatherings. She was also a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church in Massillon. She had a very welcoming personality and positive outlook toward life. Most of all she loved spending time with her family.

She is survived by her children, Grace (Dan) Whipple, Donna Spirnak, and Robert Butler; grandchildren, Kim Lalou, Danielle (Tony) Urbina, Lisa (Eric) Morton, Paul Spirnak III, Robin (Doug) Pippert, Rachel (RJ) Thomas, and Michael Spirnak; and great-grandchildren, Nick, Isabella, Violet, Jack, Greyson, Savanna, Sam, Leah, Ricky, Brady, Melody, and Paul IV.

Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Robert E. Butler with whom she shared 69 years of marriage before his passing, and daughter, Kathleen Bernardo.

A Celebration of Frances's life will be held on Tuesday, September 24, 2024, at 11:30 am at the Paquelet Funeral Home. She will be laid to rest with her husband at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery in Seville, OH.
