Fr. Donald J. Oser

Rev. Donald J. Oser, age 83 of Massillon passed away October 23, 2012. He was born January 3, 1928 in Massillon to the late M. C. & Mary (Bidle) Oser and was raised in Jackson Twp. Fr. Oser was ordained a Priest of the Diocese of Youngstown by Bishop Emmet M. Walsh on May 30, 1953. Fr. Oser retired as pastor of St. Paul's Catholic Church in North Canton after serving in several parishes in the Youngstown Diocese. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by three brothers; Albert A., William F., & Rev. M. C. Oser Jr. CCPS. A private Memorial Mass of Christian Burial was held at St. Phillips & James Catholic Church. He was interned with his parents in St. Phillip & James Cemetery.
