Faye E. Buckley

Faye E. Buckley, age 78 of Massillon, died on Saturday, February 9, 2013 at her home surrounded by her family. She was born on May 7, 1934 in Parsons, WV and was the daughter of the late Ernest Carr and Edith Canfield. Faye was known as a hard worker all of her life. She last worked at Affinity Medical Center as a dietician's assistant until her illness forced her to retire. She enjoyed reading, camping, fishing, bowling, traveling to Myrtle Beach, but most of all spending time with her family, especially her grandkids. Along with her mother, she was preceded in death by her husband, James M. Buckley, her brother Kenneth George and her stepfather Joe Long. She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Michael J. and Diana Buckley, her grandchildren, Derrick (Marie) Buckley, Brian (Jennifer) Buckley and Michael (Michele) Buckley, Jr., her great grandchildren, Derrick Buckley, Jr., Daniel Buckley, Chandler Martinez, Grant Martinez, Gavin Buckley, Ashton Martinez and Gabrielle Buckley. Also surviving are her sisters, Carol Patch, JoAnn Sponaugle and Shelba Lowes. Cremation will take place and there will be no public service. Her cremated remains along with her husbands will be entombed in the mausoleum at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to the American Cancer Society.
