Fay Alexander, 68, of Massillon, passed away on December 19, 2023 at Legends Care Center.
She was born on May 19, 1955 in Zanesville, OH.
A graduate of Tuslaw High School, Class of 1973, she attended Kent State University and worked as a Sr. Tax Preparer for H&R Block. Fay was a member of First Baptist Church, past Royal Matron Order of Amaranth, member of The Eastern Star and White Shrine. She was dedicated to her family. Fay was known for her quick wit and the use of the truth to help set your story straight. She loved to crochet and adored her cat Thumper.
Fay is survived by her loving children Stacy (Nicholas) Lemon and Frederic (Amanda) Alexander Jr.; Eight Grandchildren; and brothers, Dencil Miller and Bill Miller.
She was preceded in death by her daughters, Robin Sue and Fay Marie Alexander; grandson, Nicholas Alan Lemon Jr; brother, Cecil Miller; and mother, Icy Fay (Justice) Phillips.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, January 13, 2024 from 10:30am-11:30am at First Baptist Church, Massillon, Ohio, with a Celebration of Life at 11:30am with Pastor Roger Alber, officiating.
Memorials are suggested to the American Cancer Society and American Diabetes Association.
