Evelyn Sokol

Evelyn F. Sokol, age 93 of Massillon, died Monday, July 2, 2007 at Altercare of Nobles Pond. She was born on May 14, 1914 in Akron, Ohio and was the daughter of the late Ralph & Grace (Cady) Weaver. Evelyn owned and operated her own beauty parlor. Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Andrew Sokol and her daughter Beverly Kulik. She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Robert A. & Diane Sokol of Westerville, OH, her stepdaughter, Mary Ann (Orlo) Blummer of Minnesota, her grandchildren, Wendy Napier, McKenna Sokol and Karlene Rittmaier, her great grandchildren, Andrew Hess, Ashley Hess, Kyle McCune, Logan Napier and Hunter Napier and her sisters, Zelma (Marion) Heidy of Canal Fulton and Beverly (Larry) Easterday of Massillon. Funeral services will be conducted on Thursday, July 5, 2007 at 1:00 P.M. at the Arnold-Lynch Funeral Home with Rev. Wayne Booth officiating. Burial will follow in Rose Hill Memorial Gardens.
