Evelyn Lucille Potts

Evelyn Lucille Potts, aged 86 passed away on Friday, January 20, 2012 at Country Lawn Nursing Home. Lucille was born on October 14, 1925 to the late John Campton and Minnie Workman in Byesville, OH. She married Donald E. Potts and they shared 69 years together until his passing on December 7, 2011. Lucille worked for 5 years at the Tuslaw Latch Key Program. She enjoyed cooking and cake decorating, gardening, crocheting blankets for her family, and she could play a mean game of miniature golf. Lucille loved spending time with her grandchildren and great-children. She was also fond of walking at the Wilderness Center with her family. Lucille was a member of Grace United Church of Christ. Lucille is survived by her children, Patricia Burwell, Sharon (Tom) Baum, Brian (Marsha) Potts, Mary Ann Potts, and Holly (Mike) Keller; her grandchildren, Shannon Wagner, Steven Keller, Natalie Keller, Jason Potts, Cassie Potts, Brianna Potts, Chris and Scott Larson, Debra Ferguson, Eric and Donnie Potts; her great-grandchildren, Tony and Andrew Mease, Zac Wagner, and Owen Keller; her sisters, Naomi (Phil) Cottrell and Shirley (Dick) Corban She was preceded in death by her son, Charles Potts, her granddaughter, Heather Mease, brothers Dick Campton, Bob Campton, Jimmy Campton, and a sister, Marie Welker. A memorial service celebrating Lucille's life will be held at Grace United Church of Christ, 933 Main Ave. W, Massillon, OH 44647 on Saturday, January 28, 2012 at 11:30 A.M., Pastor Barry Stirbens will be officiating. The family will receive friends from 10:30 until the time of the memorial service.
