Evelyn "Evie" Snyder

Evelyn L. “Evie” Snyder, 93, of Canton, went home to be with the LORD on October 17, 2018, after a brief illness in Aultman Hospital. She was born in Navarre on August 29, 1925; a daughter of the late Homer and Vesta Masters. She graduated from Navarre High School in 1943. She retired from Union Drawn after 41 years. Evie was a 50 year member of Eastern Star Loyalty Chapter, and a member of Lowell Church of Canton and the Classic Glass Corvette Club of New Philly. Evie was preceded in death by her parents, 2 sisters Wava Masters and Fern Studer. She leaves behind her husband of 72 years, Richard L. “Dick” Snyder and numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral service will be at 11am on Tuesday, October 23, 2018, in the Paquelet & Arnold-Lynch Funeral Home of Massillon. Calling hours will be held from 6-8 pm on Monday, October 22, 2018, and from 10-11am on Tuesday prior to the service also in the funeral home. She will be laid to rest at Forest Hill Cemetery.
