Evelyn Emmert, 90 of Massillon, passed away Tuesday, November 29, 2005 at Massillon Community Hospital. She was born on May 31, 1915 in Mineral City to the late Frank and Cosy Brunk. Evelyn was an active member of First Christian Church. She was also a member of the American Legion Auxiliary Unit 221, VFW Auxiliary and Ladies of the Moose. In her spare time she enjoyed playing cards, playing bingo and watching Wheel of Fortune and Jeopardy. The family would like to thank everyone at Rose Lane Health Care Center for the wonderful care she received during her two year stay. Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by: Husband: George W. Emmert Son: Charles W. Emmert Brother: Lyman Brunk Survived by: Daughters; Jean (Dale) Feucht of Navarre, Ann (Thomas) Mowder of Louisville, Joy (Jim) Carter of Colorado Springs, Sondra Manzo (Eugene Harbarger) of Massillon, and Evelyn (Carl) Jones of Navarre Sons; Frank (Carol) Emmert of Massillon, George (Marcia) Emmert of Massillon, Elmer (Bonnie) Emmert of Navarre and Robert Emmert of Massillon Grandchildren: 24 Great-grandchildren: 44 Funeral Services will be held on Friday, December 2, 2005 at 11:00 a.m. at First Christian Church in Massillon. Calling hours will be held on Thursday at the Paquelet Funeral Home in Massillon from 6-8p.m. and one hour prior to the service at the church. Rev. Tim Brown will be officiating.
