Evelyn A. Moesle

Evelyn A. Moesle, age 89 of Canton, Ohio, died on Thursday, January 8, 2009 at Mercy Medical Centre in Canton. She was born on February 24, 1919 in Massillon and was the daughter of the late David and Margaret (Roush) Lindsay. She was a 1938 graduate of Washington High School and a lifelong area resident. She was a member of Grace United Church of Christ and the Canton Chapter of the Order of the Eastern Star. Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her son Roger D. Moesle in 1968 and 6 siblings. She is survived by her husband, Frank J. Moesle, whom she married on December 7, 1945, her daughter in law, Shirley M. Moesle, 2 grandchildren, Bryan Moesle and Eric Moesle and 5 great grandchildren, Tyler, Kyle, Carmen, Corinna & Lauren. Funeral services will be conducted on Monday at 1:00 P.M. at the Arnold-Lynch Funeral Home with Rev. Barry Stirbens officiating. Burial will follow in Massillon Cemetery. Friends may call on Sunday from 2-4 P.M. Memorials may be made in Evelyn’s name to the Shriner’s Crippled Children’s 1645 West 8th Street, Erie, PA 16505.
