Eulette Arrington

Eulette Arrington, 100 yrs. old, of Massillon passed away from her earthly home to receive her heavenly reward on September 16, 2022.

She was born in Woodland, Alabama on March 21, 1922 to the late Troy Joiner and Ada Lancaster Joiner.

Preceding her in death husband Chat Arrington and son John Troy Arrington and grandson James Andrew Carroll, sisters Eunice Joiner Johnson Fouse, Lillian Joiner Johnson, Pearl Joiner Gillom,  and brothers David Joiner and  Henry Joiner all of Massillon, Ohio.

Eulette was raised in a loving home with her parents brother & sisters. Eulette to Ohio at early age with her family where she attended Massillon Public Schools. On February 7, 1942 she married Chat Arrington and from this union they had one daughter and four sons.

Eulette Arrington is survived by her loyal children , daughter, Barbara June Mickens (Charles) of Canton, Ohio , sons: Chester L. Arrington (Mary) of Las Vegas, NV, Steve S. Arrington of Akron, Vincent K. Arrington of Massillon, and nine grandchildren: Ellen (Jimmy )Peterson, Tonia & Percy Steward, Mia Arrington, Montel Arrington, Abron & Sheri Arrington, Yvonne Parker, Chester Dawes, Starlet Arrington (Kyle ) , Johnny McFadden, Adrian & Haley Arrington and Marcus Billings. Mrs. Arrington has nine grandchildren, fifteen great grandchildren, and nineteen great-great grandchildren located in Ohio, Colorado, California, New York, and Texas. They all will be charged with carrying on her dedication to life, family, and accomplishment. Acknowledgment and thanks to dear Cousin Darlene Carter and Absolute Home Health and Hospice Care.

A Homegoing Celebration will be held on Monday, September 26, 2022 at 11a.m. at the St. James AME Zion Church - 209 - 2nd Street SW, Massillon, OH 44646.  Pastor LeCounte Nedab III will be officiating.  The family will recieve friends at the church from 9a.m. until 11a.m.  The commital and burial will take place at Massillon, Cemetery.
