Eugene James 'Jim' Donohoe, age 80 of Massillon, passed away Thursday, July 19, 2012 at Manor Care of Belden Village. Jim was born on September 25, 1931 in Massillon the son of Marshall and Geraldine (Garland) Donohoe. Jim owned Donohoe Auto Service, where he serviced Ohio Edison vehicles for 60 years. He was a United States Marine Corp. veteran serving our country during the Korean Conflict. Jim was a member of Clinton Lodge #47 F.&A.M. and American Legion #221. Jim enjoyed bowling for many years. Along with his parents he was preceded in death by his wife, Mildred I. Donohoe in 1997, his grandson Marc DeRoy, his granddaughter Christina Burkett, and his sister Marylee Campbell. He is survived by his children and their spouses, Sheila (Fred) Guarino, Sandy (David) DeRoy, and Peggy (Bruce) Gallagher; his grandchildren, Tiffany (Rob) Gaddis, Tim Jones, Brian (Barb) Guarino, and Brent (Wendy) DeRoy; and 6 great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, July 24, 2012 at 11:00 A.M. at Paquelet and Arnold-Lynch Funeral Home in Massillon. Dr. Roger Alber will be Officiating. Burial will follow at Union Lawn Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home on Monday from 6-8 P.M. and one hour prior to the service on Tuesday.
