Eugene A. "Bud" Philippi, Jr.

Eugene A. “Bud” Philippi, Jr., 71, of Massillon, passed away on Wednesday, December 1, 2021. Bud was born on October 24, 1950, in Canton, the son of the late Eugene and Jeanine (King) Sr. He was a lifelong resident of the area and a 1970 graduate of North Canton Hoover High School. Bud worked for the City of North Canton in the Water Department and retired after 30 years of service. He enjoyed riding his Harley Davidson, fishing, and hunting. Most of all he loved spending time with his granddaughter. Bud was a member of the F.O.E. #2223. Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister-in-law, Kathy Codispoti. He is survived by his wife, Teri (Seifert) Philippi whom he shared 29 years of marriage; children, Shawn (Jodi Wise) Philippi, Jeremy McKinney, Jessica (Tom) Gerber, and Jordan (Kelly) McKinney; granddaughter, Madison Gerber; siblings, Dennis Philippi, Wayne (Linda) Philippi, and Lori (Jeff) Miller; father & mother-in-law, Jim (Sue) Seifert. The family will receive friends at the Paquelet & Arnold-Lynch Funeral Home on Monday, December 6, 2021, from 6 – 8 p.m. A private graveside service will be held later.
