Etta Marie Warne

Etta Marie Warne, 95, of Brewster, passed away peacefully on May 31, 2024 at Brewster Parke.

She was born on August 14, 1928 to the late Curtis and Irene (Arney) Kilgore in Massillon, OH.

Etta was married to the late Ray "Tobe" Warne, and they celebrated 50 years of marriage before his death in 2006.

She was a member of Sixteen St. John's Church and the Freedom Harley Davidson Motorcycle Club. Etta and Tobe shared many adventures on their Harley. She also enjoyed line dancing and crocheting. She absolutely loved football and was an avid fan of the Ohio State Buckeyes and the Massillon Tigers. She worked for 30 years as a pharmacy tech for Applecreek Developmental Center, retiring in 1989.

Etta is survived by her sons, Allen (Gayle) Neago and Tim (Beverly) Warne; grandchildren, Chad Warne, Jason (Darcy) Neago, Leslie (Justin) Galbreath, and Ashley Neago; six great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her sister, Alyce Sonnhalter; and brother, Ralph Kilgore.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, June 8, 2024 from 10:00 am - 11:00 am at Paquelet & Arnold-Lynch Funeral Home, Massillon, with a funeral service to start at 11:00 am in the funeral home with Robyn Householder, officiating. Burial will follow in Rose Hill Memorial Gardens.
