Ethel V. Woodruff

Ethel V. Woodruff, age 76 of Massillon passed away January 6, 2018 at Mercy Medical Center. She was born May 22, 1941 in Newburg, WV to the late Frank & Amy (Bell) Murphy. She had been employed at the former Red Head Gas Station and was a member of First Baptist Church. She will be remembered as a good wife, good mother who liked collecting coins. Her favorite time was spent with family and traveling to Niagara Falls. Ethel is survived by her husband of 42 years Ben Woodruff, two sons; Ben W. Woodruff and Douglas (Dawna Green) Taylor. Two grandchildren Kaylin Taylor and Jason Taylor. Step-mother to James Kistler and Christopher Blakeney; and a brother John (Millie) Murphy. Service will be 1 PM Tuesday at First Baptist Church, Rev. Edd Matako will officiate. Friends may call one hour before the service at the church. Burial will be Wednesday in Newburg, WV.
