Ethel Mae Snodgrass, 96 of Massillon, went to be with her Lord and Savior, whom she loved and lived for on Tuesday, February 8, 2011 at the Hospitality House in Perry Township. She was born on March 31, 1914 in Massillon and was the daughter of the late John and Ethel (Miller) Beadle. She was a member of Wesleyan Methodist Church in Massillon and had been active with the church’s Missionary Society. She was involved with the church’s children’s ministries. Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Wendell W. Snodgrass in 1978, her brothers David Beadle and Arlin Beadle and her sister Maxine Boyd. She is survived by her daughter, Marilyn (Richard) Terpe of Medina, OH, her son Wendell A. (Margaret) Snodgrass of Massillon, her grandchildren, Janine Smith, Mark & Melissa Snodgrass, Wendy Ann (Don) Kernell and Steve (Wendy) Snodgrass, 7 great grandchildren, Jordan, Joshua, Caleb, Jacob, Katie, Samuel and Jared and one great great grand daughter, Grace. Funeral services will take place on Saturday at 11:00 A.M. at the Paquelet & Arnold-Lynch Funeral Home, 1100 Wales Road N.E. in Massillon with Rev Terry Livengood officiating. Burial will follow at Brookfield Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the Paquelet & Arnold-Lynch Funeral Home on Friday from 6-8 P.M. and on Saturday one hour before the service.
