Esther J. Stewart

Esther J. Stewart age 47 of Massillon passed away June 1, 2009 at Affinity Medical Center after a brief illness. She was born November 15, 1961 in Massillon to Harry O. & Jean (Briggs) Stewart and has been a life resident. She was a 1984 graduate of the MRDD Southgate School. Esther was a 25 year employee of the TWI Workshops. She was a life member of the Massillon Baptist Temple and enjoyed visiting with the church members. Esther like traveling with her friends, listening to music, collecting stuffed animals and playing with dogs. Her father Harry O. Stewart passed away in 2003. Esther will be deeply missed by her mother Jean Stewart, her two aunts, Dorothy Briggs and Joan Bartell. A Homegoing Celebration for Esther Stewart will be 11 AM Saturday at the Massillon Baptist Temple, Rev. Cecil Thayer will officiate. Private interment will be Monday at the Ohio Western Reserve Cemetery in Rittman, OH. Friends may call Friday from 6-8 PM at the funeral home, and on Saturday from 10 AM until the service at the Baptist Temple.
