Erin C. Hookey

Erin Hookey, age 40 of Perry Twp., passed away on July 5, 2010. He was born on August 21, 1969 in Cleveland, Ohio the son of Jerry Hookey and Linda (Hookey) Gerakis. Erin was a 1987 St. Ignatius Alumni where he was an Alumni Council member, past President and on the spiritual leadership committee and very active in fund raising events. He was a board president of Asian Services In Action for many years. He was also a graduate from Walsh University. Erin worked at the Summit Co. Juvenile Court as Educational Services Coordinator and as an intake worker. Erin was preceded in death by his mother, Linda (Hookey) Gerakis in March, 2010. He is survived by his loving wife, Constance Ray-Hookey, three step-children; Nicholas and Michael Rustifo and Steven Ray, his father; Jerry Hookey, his sister; Nancy Duncan, his brother; Mark Hookey, his grandmother; Josephine Candalisa, several aunts, uncles and cousins. His funeral service will be held on Friday, July 9, 2010 at 1:00 P.M. at the Paquelet Funeral Home in Massillon. Fr. Carl Bonk, SJ will be officiating. Burial will be at Calvary Cemetery. Friends may call at the Paquelet Funeral Home on Friday from 11-1 P.M prior to the service. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to his wife to assist with funeral expenses.
