Eric D. Bishop

Eric D. Bishop, 54, of North Lawrence, passed away on Friday, May 3, 2024. Eric was born in Cleveland, Ohio on October 30, 1969 the son of the late Douglas and Dolores (Alvarez) Bishop.

Eric was a big Cleveland Browns, Indians and Cavs fan. He also loved Ohio State Football. He was active with the Special Olympics. Eric enjoyed traveling, listening to music, watching movies and playing the slot machines. He had a strong love for kids as well. He greeted everyone as a friend. He brought smiles wherever he went.

He is survived by his sisters, Lynn Schultz, Laura (David Gadd) Bishop, and Susan (Neal) Kelley; nieces and nephews, April (Keith) Cromer, Audra Heron, Stephen Schultz, Jr., Indigo Bishop, Angelique (Nate) Bucher, and James (Shalane) Bishop; 10 great nieces and nephews; several aunts, and uncles; and his dog, Zoey.

Visitation will be held on Friday, May 10, 2024 from 5-7 pm at the Paquelet Funeral Home. A graveside service in the Mausoleum will be held on Saturday, May 11, 2024 at 11 a.m. at Western Reserve Memorial Gardens in Chesterland, Ohio.
