Emma J. Scharver

Emma J. Scharver, 83 of Massillon, passed away on Friday, December 12, 2014. She was born on December 22, 1930 in Massillon and was the daughter of the late Lawrence and Stella Pearl (Weisgarber) Reynolds. Emma was a graduate of Washington High School and had worked as a deli clerk at the former A & D Food-A-Rama. Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her sisters Ada Drobney and Irene Kolek. She is survived by her husband, David E. Scharver, her children, Patricia (Phil) Houser, Cheryl (John) Dannemiller, Tina (Steve) Moffitt, Mike (Ging) Martin, Maria (Jim) Helscel and Jim (Michelle) Mikulec. Also surviving are 15 grandchildren, 19 great grandchildren and her sister Juanita Kemp. In keeping with her wishes, cremation will take place and the family will celebrate her life with a private service.
