Emma Copodonna

Emma Copodonna, age 81 of Canton, passed away on Tuesday, February 2, 2010 at Aultman Hospital. She was born on August 16, 1928 in Massillon, the daughter of the late Raymond and Celia Hattery. Emma lived in the area most of her life. She was a member of St. Clement Catholic Church in Navarre and of the Eagles #190 Auxiliary in Massillon. Along with her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Thomas W. Copodonna in 1986; her sister, Anita Garman and her brother, Raymond Hattery. She is survived by her daughters; Cissy (Tom) Clemens of Steubenville, Emma (Ken) Wright of Florida, Theresa (Joe) Cross of Canton (with whom she resided), Virginia Copodonna of Florida and Melody Ransom of NY, and her son, Joseph Copodonna of Canton; her sister, Norma Shaw of Hartville and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
