Emily Moore

Emily J. Moore, 48, of Massillon, Ohio, passed away surrounded by her family on Wednesday, January 11, 2023 after a 4 year battle with brain cancer.

She was born on November 5, 1974 in Rochester, Minnesota to Lowell and Patricia (Kyllo) Salo. Emily attended elementary school in Wanamingo, Minnesota and graduated from West Salem High School in West Salem, Wisconsin. She went on to receive her Bachelor's degree in Business Administration from Winona State University.

Emily worked for Fastenal Company for 25 years as a regional finance manager. She enjoyed her job and all of the people she worked with. In her free time, Emily loved to shop, read, and watch sports, especially basketball. Emily always enjoyed having a Venti Mocha from Starbucks in her hands. She loved glitter and anything with "bling". Emily was a pro at Christmas decor, and loved decorating as soon as Thanksgiving dinner was over. Most of all, Emily loved spending time with her family and friends. She knew the importance of the little things, and took the time to make sure people knew they were loved.

She is preceded in death by her grandparents Palmer and Mavis Kyllo, Toivo and Muriel Salo; and her aunt Pam.

Emily is survived by her loving husband of 20 years, Mike Moore; her daughters, Abigail and Lillian; her parents, Patricia and Lowell Salo; her twin sister, Stacie (Jared) Kuehl; her in-laws, Paul and Linda Moore; she is also survived by a host of aunts, uncles, cousins and extended family members.

Visitation will be from 4:00 pm to 6:00 pm on Thursday, January 19, 2023 at Paquelet & Arnold-Lynch Funeral Home,

a Memorial Service will be held at 6:00 pm on Thursday. Burial will take place at a later date.

A Celebration of Life for Emily will be held in Minnesota at a date to be determined.
