Elsie E. Goldsmith

Elsie E. Goldsmith, 86, died Tuesday morning, December 13, 2011, at Hennis Care Center in Bolivar following a brief illness. She was born August 28, 1925 in Martins Ferry to the late Joseph and Rosa Mates Bender. She attended St. John Lutheran Church Surviving are two sons, Harvey R. Goldsmith of Massillon, Martin V.J. and Erna Lou Goldsmith of Bolivar; two grandchildren, Natalie Phillips, Jennifer Goldsmith; two step grandchildren, David Harmon, Rachel Harmon; seven great grandchildren, three step great grandchildren; one special niece, Carol Bright and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Donald Goldsmith, an infant great grandson; two brothers, Bill and Marty Bender; two sisters, Rose Bodnar and Hilda Gitto. Friends may call on Thursday, December 15, 2011 from 6-8PM at the Paquelet and Arnold-Lynch Funeral Home. Services will be held on Friday, December 16, 2011 at 1PM at the Paquelet and Arnold-Lynch Funeral Home, Rev. John Telloni, officiating. Burial will be in Rose Hill Memorial Gardens.
