Ellis P. Skaggs

Ellis P. Skaggs, age 83, of Massillon, passed away on Saturday, July 27, 2013. Ellis was born on August 9, 1929 in Greenup, Kentucky the son of the late Everett and Gladys (Pritchard) Skaggs. He worked for LTV for 35 years retiring in 1993. Along with his parents he was preceded in death by 1 brother and 1 sister. He leaves to cherish his memory his wife Ruby (Kegley) Skaggs whom he married on July 12, 1948; his children, Ellis R. (Sheila Torre) Skaggs, and Ruth (Roy) King; his grandchildren, Michael Skaggs and Scott (Nicole) Skaggs; his great grandchildren, Zain , Mason and Mileena; his nephew, Donald Ray Kegley and family; and several other nieces and nephews. A Celebration of Ellis's Life will be held at the Paquelet Funeral Home on Wednesday, July 31, 2013 at 3:00 p.m. The family will receive friends from 2-3 p.m. before the service.
