Ellen Jane Deal

Ellen Jane Deal, 95 of Canton, passed away Wednesday, December 14, 2016. Ellen was born on November 13, 1921 in Navarre, the daughter of the late Clyde and Bertha (Sommers) Unger. She was a lifelong resident of Canton. Ellen worked for the Hoover Company during WWII, while her husband Howard Deal was serving our country during the war. Ellen enjoyed sewing and cooking. She was a member of the Canton Baptist Temple. Along with her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Howard Deal and 1 brother and 3 sisters. She is survived by her children Tim (Jung) Deal and Cheryl Deal; grandchildren, Ronnie (Dee Dee) Harter, Charlotte Alexander, and Carol (David) Doig; and numerous great grandchildren. A graveside service will be held on Saturday, December 17, 2016 at 1:00 p.m. at Evergreen Memorial Gardens in Louisville.
