Elizabeth J. Betty Seese

Elizabeth J. “Betty” Seese, age 80 of Massillon, died Friday, March 23, 2007 at Altercare of Nobles Pond. She was born on November 6, 1926 in Massillon and was the daughter of the late Myron and Gladys (Levers) Seese. She was a lifelong area resident. In 1944 Betty graduated from Washington High School. Following her graduation she worked the former M. O’Neil Company. She then worked at the Union Drawn Division of Republic Steel for 32 years. Betty’s memberships included the Beta Sigma Phi Sorority and the Massillon Women’s Club. She was lifelong avid reader and enjoyed extensive traveling. Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her sisters, June Stephon and Eileen Marsh. She is survived by 3 brothers and sisters-in-law, Roland (Jean) Seese and William D. (Gail) Seese of Massillon and Ralph (Cora) Seese of Lake Cable and 10 treasured nieces and nephews. A Memorial Service to celebrate the life of Betty Seese will take place at the Arnold-Lynch Funeral Home on Saturday, March 31st at 11:00 AM. with Dr. Mark George officiating.
