Elizabeth F. Derflinger

Elizabeth F. Derflinger, age 68 of Massillon, died on Saturday, January 14, 2012 at Mercy Medical Center. She was born on April 3, 1943 in Massillon and was the daughter of the late William and Luetta (Dine) Niedenthal. Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, James L. Derflinger and her sister Louise Hunt. She is survived by her son, Thomas L. Niedenthal, her daughters, Jean A. (Michael) Selzer, Bonnie L. Turner and Donna J. Long, 10 grandchildren, Nicholas, Corey, Taylin Niedenthal, Christopher Selzer, Jesse and Matthue Turner, and Christina, Ashley, and Timothy Long and Lenny Larkin, 6 great grandchildren, Destiny, Jordan, Kamiah, Aiden, Lily and Anthony. Also surviving are her sister Margie Smith, her brother-in-law Curtis Hunt, many nieces and nephews and her best friend Dollie Hickman. She was a strong and amazing woman with a lot of people who truly loved her. A service to celebrate her life will take place on Wednesday at 1:00 P.M. at the Paquelet & Arnold-Lynch Funeral Home .
