Elizabeth 'Betty' J. Thomas

Elizabeth J. ‘Betty’ Thomas, age 59 of Massillon, passed away Wednesday at Akron City Hospital following an extended illness. She was born October 26, 1948 in Brecksville to Frederick A & Virginia ‘Peggy’ (Kenyon) Denniss and was a 1967 graduate of Brecksville High School. Her greatest joy in life was being surrounded by her family and friends. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her. She was preceded in death by her father. She is survived by a daughter and her fiancée, Cherish ‘Cher’ Thomas and Scott Corban; son and daughter in law, Richard ‘R.J.’ and Rachel Thomas all of Massillon; grandchildren; Christopher Corban and Jaclyn Thomas; mother, Virginia Kotila; brother and sister in law, Scott & Jennifer Denniss; two nieces and a nephew, Amanda, Emily and Adam Denniss and Betty’s fiancée of ten years, Michael G. Wagnor. A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, July 19, 2008 at 3:00 P.M. at the Paquelet Funeral Home in Massillon.
