Elizabeth A. Huff, 91, of Massillon, passed away on Friday, March 1, 2019. She was born on July 6, 1927 in Logrow, WV the daughter of the late Michael and Dorti (Harvan) Sifro. She lived most of her life in the Warren, Ohio area where she grew up and raised her family. Elizabeth enjoyed playing cards and doing crafts. She was also an avid reader. Elizabeth worked as a welder on WWII landing craft and later worked for Canada Dry Bottling Company in Warren, Ohio. She was the first woman teamster in Northeast Ohio and organized bottling workers and truck drivers. Elizabeth was a member of St. James Catholic Parish in SE Warren, where her father helped build the original church (now known as White Hall). Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her daughter, Marie Lazzari, her grandson, Ricky Lazzari and seven brothers and sisters. She is survived by her children, Herbert (Laurie) Huff, Jr. of Massillon and Sandra (Michael Primmer) Dorchock of Warren; 4 granddaughters; 3 grandsons; 10 great grandchildren; and numerous great-great grandchildren.
