Eleanore Christine Brugh

Eleanore Christine (Ross) Brugh, age 95 of Palm Bay, FL, formerly of Massillon, passed away on January 20, 2012 at William Childs Hospice House. She was born on June 1, 1916 in Washington, PA and was the daughter of the late Joseph and Gertrude (Stromberg) Ross. Eleanore spent 10 years in the Dover Children's Home and was a 1934 graduate of Dover High School. She retired as an LPN from the former Massillon State Hospital. She was a member of First United Methodist Church and was "Grandma" to the world. Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Wally Brugh, Sr., her grandchildren, Kristiann Brugh and Mark Singletary and her sisters, Ann Clemens and Jackie Jedneszewski. She is survived by her children, Wally (Ann) Brugh, Jr. and Beverly (Larry) Singletary, her sister, Velma (Wib) Hileman and her brother, Joe (Carolyn) Ross, Jr. Also surviving are her grandchildren, Jerry (Sherri) Brugh, Tammy Moye, Dan (Christina) Singletary, Shannon (Ron) Jackson and Rae Ann Moyer, 20 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild. A service to celebrate her life will take place on Monday at 11:00 A.M. at the Paquelet & Arnold-Lynch Funeral Home with Rev. Jeff Coggins officiating. Burial will follow at Sunset Hills Burial Park. The family will receive friends on Monday one hour before the service at the funeral home.
