Eleanor Sasavicz - Rogers

Eleanor Sasavicz Rogers, 92 of Massillon, passed away Saturday, July 9, 2016. Eleanor was born on February 9, 1924 in Massillon the daughter of Daniel and Mabel (Seiber) Williams. She was a lifelong resident of Massillon. Eleanor was employed as a home health aide in Massillon. She enjoyed traveling, camping, crocheting, painting and drawing. Along with her parents she was preceded in death by her first husband, Joseph Sasavicz, her former husband Bill Rogers and numerous brothers and sisters. She is survived by her children Cynthia King, Vicki Hellgren, Martha (Melvin) Miller and Harold (Linda) Sasavicz; 8 grandchildren; and 6 great-grandchildren. A private service will be held on Wednesday, July 13, 2016 at St. Joseph Catholic Church. She will be inurned at Brookfield Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Mercy Hospice.
