Eileen Pearl Seifert

Massillon

Eileen Pearl Seifert, 96, of Massillon, went home with the Lord on Tuesday, March 11, 2025, at home where she was being cared for by her daughter, Jeanne Knight and Traditions Hospice Care. Eileen was born in Lordstown, Ohio, on November 6, 1928, the daughter of the late Ralph and Minnie (Nolan) Hanna.

Eileen was a lifelong resident of the area and graduated from Navarre High School. She also loved traveling to any where she could. She married the love of her life, Stanley J. Seifert, Sr. on May 10, 1947 and they shared 69 years of marriage before his passing in 2016. She worked at Central States Can and retired after 40 years of service. She also volunteered at Doctor's Hospital for many years. She bowled for the Massillon Moose for over 3 decades. She was also a member of the Amvets, Eagles #190, and the American Legion. Eileen was an avid sports fan, especially the Tigers, Buckeyes, Cleveland Indians, and Cleveland Browns. She loved spending time with her grandchildren and attending their sporting events. She was a member of First Christian Church - Massillon. She never knew a stranger, and loved everyone she met.

She is survived and deeply missed by her children, Terrie (James) Vaughn, Alan Seifert, Sr., Jeanne Knight, and Nanette (Don) Finley; grandchildren, Sherry (Joe) Marmon, Kim Ryder, Tim (Jennifer) Vaughn, Melanie (Ben) Davis, Stanley 'Tres' Seifert, III, Tiffany (Matt) Seifert-Gallagher, Adam (Geri) Seifert, Tim (Heather) Knight, David Knight, James (Kim) Ries, Jessica (Corey) Kidd-Lowe, Jeremy Kidd, Jennifer (Gabe) Kidd-Schray, Matt (Kristina) Finley, and Heather (Aaron) Clark; many, many great-grandchildren, several great-great-grandchildren, and many more great-great-great grandchildren; she was a mother and grandmother to all of the neighborhood kids.

Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Stanley J. Seifert, Sr., son, Stanley J. Seifert, Jr., grandsons, Norman James Vaughn, Jr., Alan L. Seifert, II, and Floyd Ryder; great-granddaughter, Madison Davis; siblings, Gene Render, Kate Brown, twin sister, Irene Cunningham, Laura Albert, and Millie Compan; and her beloved dog, Jakki-o.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, March 22, 2025 from 11 am - 12 pm at the Paquelet Funeral Home, with a Celebration of Eileen's life at 12 pm. Burial will follow at Rose Hill Memorial Gardens. Eileen would not want you to dress up, please come in comfortable clothing. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Ronald McDonald House or Alex's Lemonade Stand Foundation.
