Eileen Rosella Paulik

Eileen (Manweiler) Paulik Our mother, grandmother and great-grandmother passed away suddenly and unexpectedly in the early morning hours of Jan 15, surrounded by loved ones. An aorta dissection caused her sudden death and even the tender caring hands at the Cleveland Clinic could not repair her. Eileen is preceded in death by her husband who she met while working at O'Neil's. During their 42 years of marriage Al and Eileen had six children; Alan Paulik, who passed away in 2007, Dolores Paulik, John Paulik, Teresa (Frank) Carioti, Cindy (Bruce) Willmot, and Amy (Steven) Craig. In addition to being a great mother to her children, Eileen was a GRANDmother in every sense of the word to her grandchildren. Christopher Paulik, Jennifer Henry, Quentin Paulik, Tabitha and Seth Willmot, Lauren Fellmeth and Sammy Craig, Vincent and Vanessa Carioti and great grandson Zayne Paulik were all blessed by her. And what a joy they brought to her life. Words cannot describe this lady. Her wisdom, accumulated over her 87 years of life could not be taught in books or any formal education. Her love for cooking and collection of cookbooks will forever fill our kitchens with her love. The kindness and generosity she shared with anyone and everyone came freely. Her willingness to try or do just about anything, even to the day she died, exemplified her bravery, her humility and her adventurous spirit. Our world will be a lonelier place without Eileen as her physical absence is replaced with our many fond and cherished memories. But what great memories we all have of her and the many ways in which she touched our lives. Cheers, Grandma!
