Eileen J. Urban

Eileen J. Urban, age 93, of Massillon, passed away Tuesday, November 26, 2013 surrounded by her family. Eileen was born in New Martinsville, WV. Eileen lived in Massillon most of her life. She worked at Massillon Rubber Shop, was the first female letter carrier here in Massillon and also worked for the Massillon Schools in the cafeteria and at Baltino Foods. Eileen was a very active woman and was always on the go. She loved traveling and spending time with her family. She attended many Massillon Tiger football games including games this year, as she was a longtime ticket holder. Eileen was an active member of Holy Trinity Lutheran Church. Along with her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Edward G. 'PeeWee' Urban in 2003, 1 brother and 1 sister. She is survived by her daughters and their spouses, Cindy (Randy) Byard, and Marilyn (Walt) Douglas; her grandchildren, Mike Skaggs, Scott (Nicole) Skaggs, Christopher Byard, Matthew (Brianna) Byard, Tria Byard, and Jeremy Greig; and her great-grandchildren, Zain, Mason, and Mileena Skaggs, Shae Byard; also step-grandchildren, Matthew (Rachel) Douglas, Jennifer Douglas, and 'deceased' step-grandson, Wally Douglas; step-great granddaughters, Kylie, Audrey, Alexis, and Mylah Douglas. A Celebration of Eileen's Life will be held on Saturday, November 30, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. at Holy Trinity Lutheran Church. Rev. Chip Belanga will be Officiating. Burial will follow at Massillon Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the Paquelet & Arnold-Lynch Funeral Home on Friday from 6-8 p.m. and one hour before the service at the church.
