Eileen G. Davis

Eileen G. Davis, 81 of Massillon, died on Friday, December 30, 2011 at Aultman Hospital. She was born May 14, 1930 in Massillon and was the daughter of the late Harry and Ella Taylor. Eileen was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. She was a member of Epworth United Methodist Church, where she belonged to the Loyal Builders Class. Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her four brothers, Harry, Robert, Eugene & Dutch Taylor. She is survived by her husband, Hampton C. Davis, whom she married on August 16, 1949, her daughter; Debra (Tom) Scheetz, her sons; Randall F. (Karen) Davis and William A. (Tracy) Davis, her grandchildren; Emily (Carl) Mazzone, Molly Scheetz, Kate (Patrick) Burgert, Megan (Jake) Saul, Mallory Davis, Corinne Davis and Garett Davis and her sister Dorothy (Clarence) Rambaud. A memorial service to celebrate her life will take place on Wednesday at 11:00 AM at Epworth United Methodist Church with Pastor Jeff Coggins officiating. The family will receive friends on Tuesday at the Paquelet Funeral Home from 6-8 P.M. and on Wednesday one hour before the service. Memorials may be made in her name to Epworth United Methodist Church.
