Edward L. Bucher

Edward L. Bucher, 84, of N. Lawrence, Ohio, passed away Thursday, February 6, 2014 at his residence surrounded by his family. Edward was born on June 4, 1929 in Massillon, the son of the late Harry and Loretta (Rohr) Bucher. He was a lifelong resident of the area. He retired from Republic Steel. He loved to ride his golf cart all around his property, where he enjoyed fishing and gardening. He and his wife, Betty spent their winters in Florida visiting with family. Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by his sons Randall and Terry Bucher, his brothers, Warren, Harry and Jerry Bucher and his son-in-law Lynn Strazi. He is survived by his wife Betty (White) Bucher, whom he married on September 9, 1950; his children and their spouses, Edward (Denise) Bucher, Jr. of TX, Linda Strazi, Ernie (Beverly) Bucher of FL, Debbie (Randy) Neidert, Dan (Leann) Bucher, Julie (Don) Foutty; his daughter-in-law Kim Bucher; 11 grandchildren; 7 great grandchildren; his brother John (Nedra) Bucher; and his sister Zelda Saal. A Celebration of Edward's life will be held on Monday, February, 10, 2014 at 2:00 P.M. at Paquelet & Arnold-Lynch Funeral Home. Fr. Kevin McCaffery will be Officiating. Burial will follow at Rose Hill Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Sunday from 6-8 P.M. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Aultman Hospice.
