Edward J. Simon

Edward J. Simon, age 47 of Massillon, is finally at peace and free of pain on Tuesday May 31, 2011. He was born in Massillon on January 23, 1964 to the late Eugene Edward Simon and the late Shirley Rae ( Calendine) Fisher Miller. He is survived by his wife, Ann Hindley Simon, whom he married on Aug. 1, 1987. Edward worked at Timken Company for 27 years. He was a 1982 graduate of Massillon High School and lived his entire life in the area. He was an avid hunter, NASCAR and Moto Cross fan. He was a very big hearted person and a best friend to all who knew him. He is survived by: a son, Thomas Edward Simon, daughter , Megan Marie Simon, a sister, Teresa ( Joe)Bradley, two nephews, Antonio Suarez and Austin Hindley, three nieces, Christina Suarez, Mary Kate Hindley and Regan Stenger, a special great nephew, Joshua Suarez, whom he called his “LITTLE TURTLE HEAD”, a great nephew and a great niece, Conner Suarez and Aaliyah Suarez, a cousin and good friend Rusty Randolph and family, step-mother, Michelle A. Simon and his father -in-law and mother- in –law, Thomas and Susan Hindley all of Massillon, brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Allan and Shelley Hindley. He was preceded in death by: his step- fathers, Cliff Fisher and Tim Miller and a sister, Amanda Marie Simon A memorial Service will be held at 11:30AM Saturday, June 4, 2011 at Grace Fellowship Church, 6282 Nave Street S.E., Massillon, Ohio. The family will receive friends from 10:00 am – 11:30AM at the Church. Burial will be in Rose Hill Memorial Gardens, Massillon. Memorial donations may be made to the American Cancer Society.
