Edward "Ed" A. Baker, 60, passed away on Wednesday, February 5, 2014 at Mercy Medical center following an extended illness. He was born in Dover on October 4, 1953 to Orval Baker and Bernice (McMerrill) Baker of Navarre. Ed owned and operated E. B. Restaurant in Louisville, and Mill Inn in Canton. He worked the last 13 years for Multi County Juvenile Detention Center. He was preceded in death by his father, Orval Baker; sister, Bonnie Baker. He is survived by his mother Bernice Baker and his brother Roland (Linda) Baker and a cousin Carolyn (George) McDougall. A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, February 11, 2014 at 11:00 A.M. at East Union Lawn Cemetery in Navarre. Any donations may be made to the American Cancer Society.
