Edna M. Schaar

Edna M. Schaar, age 99 passed away on Saturday, August 11, 2018. She was born in Massillon on May 09, 1919 to the late Earl and Alena (Allison) Nickle. She married Otto C. Schaar on May 22, 1946 and they shared 58 years together until his passing on November 22, 2004. Edna was a homemaker and enjoyed cooking, gardening, sewing, cross stitch, quilting, but most important being a devoted and loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend. She leaves to cherish her memory her son James (Allison) Schaar and Nancy (Raymond) Williams; her grandchildren Jennifer, Jessica and Ryan; her great-grandchildren Ellenore and Cohen; her brother-in-law Burton Schaar and a host of family and friends. Edna was preceded in death by her parents; husband; her sister Hazel Barkman and her brother Roy Nickle. A Graveside service will be held at 11:20a.m. on Thursday, August 16, 2018 at Sunset Hills Burial Park - 5001 Everhard Road N.W., Canton, OH 44720.
