Edith Mae Buck

Edith M. Buck, 91 of Massillon, passed away Friday, May 26, 2017. Edith was born on May 31, 1925 in Fairplain, WV the daughter of Fred and Virgie (Rhodes) Fields. Edith worked in the kitchen at Rose Lane Health Care Center. She was a member of the Massillon Baptist Temple where she was active with the Bus Ministry. Edith enjoyed gardening, traveling to Florida collecting shells and spending time with her family. Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her husbands, Woodrow Sneed and Fred J. Buck and her grandson, Javis Sneed. She is survived by her children, Helen Powell, Patricia (Kenneth) Whited, Ron (Deloris) Sneed, and Chuck Sneed; step-daughter, Lila Wetzel; 18 grandchildren; 21 great - grandchildren; 2 great great - grandchildren; sisters, Annabelle Carney and Rita Casto; and her brother, Radus Fields. A Celebration of Edith’s Life will be held on Wednesday, May 31, 2017 at 1:00 p.m. at the Paquelet & Arnold-Lynch Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Brookfield Cemetery.
