Edgar “Ed” D. Greathouse, age 69 of Massillon, passed away on October 29, 2017. He was born in Massillon on July 05, 1948 to the late Arnett and Marlene Greathouse-Kuhn. Ed served his country in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War. He worked as a truck driver for many years until his retirement. He enjoyed being with his family; especially his grandkids. In his younger days he enjoyed Stock Car Racing and woodworking. Ed was known as “The Human GPS” able to give directions to and from anywhere. He will forever be remembered as dedicated and loyal person, who gave 110% in everything he did. He is survived by his children Kristin (Michael) Combs, Michael (Carol) Greathouse, and Daniel (Brittany) Greathouse; his wife Donna McGuire; his grandchildren Brittany Knight, Jessica Nance, Daniel Yarnell, Zachary Garrett, Hailey Greathouse, Caiden Short and Abigale Greathouse; his great-grandchildren Laynee Pigott and Levi Garrett and 2 on the way; his sister Nikki Kuhn; his step-sister Noel Kuhn; his stepbrother Corey Kuhn and a host of family and friends. He was preceded in death by his stepfather, Russell Kuhn; sister Holly K. Kuhn; brother Thomas D. Greathouse and grandson, Eric Garrett A Celebration of Edgar’s life will be held on Sunday, November 05, 2017 at 4p.m. at the Paquelet Funeral Home in Massillon. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 2pm until the time of the service. Military Honors with burial to follow will take place at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery on Monday, November 06, 2017 at 2p.m..
