Earl W. Brown

Earl Brown, age 86 of Lakeside/Marblehead, formally of Massillon, passed away Friday, August 19, 2011 at St. John West Shore Hospital in Westlake, OH. Earl was born on April 13, 1925 in N. Canton, the son of the late Julius and Olive (Bricker) Brown. Earl was a U.S. veteran and served in the Army during WWII on tours’ of duty through Italy, France and South Africa. Earl owned Brown’s Radio & T.V., worked at Goodyear Aerospace and retired from the University of Akron as an electronic systems engineer. He was a member of Clinton Lodge #47 F&A.M., Shriners, and St. Paul’s Lutheran Church. Earl was a lifelong motorcycle and boating enthusiast. He leaves to cherish his memory, his wife, Mary (Pritchard) Brown whom he married on September 30, 1950; his children, Kim (Debbie) Brown of Alabama, Jeff (Diane) Brown of Sacramento, CA, Scott (Staci) Brown of Massillon and Holly (Brian) Fowler of Bay Village; his grandchildren, Jennifer, Steve, Skyler, Sierra, Jacob, Spencer, Ryan, Megan and Clara. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, August 23, 2011 at 11:00A.M. at the Paquelet and Arnold-Lynch Funeral Home. Minister Rhonda Gallagher will be officiating.
