Earl Preston Damewood

Earl Preston Damewood, 91, passed away on March 4, 2017 following an extended illness. He was born on May 11, 1925 in Kenmore to the late Homer Brooks and Nora (Newell) Damewood. Earl was a member of Stanwood Community Church and was a retiree of Terex. He was a veteran of the United States Navy He is survived by his children, Sandra J. (John) Bowser of Alliance, Kenneth E. (Mary) Damewood of Brewster and Dennis B. Damewood of Navarre; four grandchildren, Sherry (Eric) Misorski, Mary Lyon, Justin T. Bowser and Travis J. Bowser; four great-grandchildren, Sara, Kristina, Olivia and Peyton. He was also preceded in death by his wife, Etta Mae (Becker) Damewood; two sisters, Mildred Black and Virginia Hall; and a brother Worthy Damewood. A private graveside service will be held at Rose Hill Memorial Gardens.
