Earl E. Randles

Earl E. Randles, age 89 of Tuscarawas Twp. passed away Wednesday at Affinity Medical Center. He was born May 1, 1924 in Coshocton, OH to the late Loyd A. & Fern (Mullett) Randles. About 1952 he moved to Massillon and soon began working at J & L Steel and retired after 30 years. In years past, he took great pride in raising fox hounds. His participation in fox chasing led him to travel throughout the country. Earl enjoyed bowling and was part of several leagues. He was a perfectionist when it came to gardening and taking care of the yard and flowers. Earl was avery active member of the Massillon Baptist Temple. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Owen & Glenn Randles. He is survived by his wife of 20 years, Betty (Talbott) Randles, his daughter Darlene Britton (Bob Oney); two step sons; Brian (Traci) Cooper & Scott (Christine) Cooper. Earl has two sisters, Mary Jane Roff and Norma Jean Baker and his brother, Carl (Norma) Randles. Also surviving are their grandchildren, Trent (Corine) Britton, Stacey (Joe) Urbas, Brian, Melissa, Brandon, Breanna, Brande, Brady and Bralynn Cooper and their great grandchildren: Kayla, Tyler, Emilee, Jacob and Zoe. Funeral Service will be at 12 Noon on Monday at the Massillon Baptist Temple, Rev. Cecil Thayer will officiate. Burial will follow at Brookfield Cemetery.
