Durwood D. Allshouse

Durwood D. Allshouse, age 69 of Massillon, died on Wednesday, December 24, 2008 at Affinity Medical Center. He was born on February 16, 1939 in Brookville, PA and was the son of Avanelle (Himes) Allshouse and the late Walter W. Allshouse. He was an area resident for most of his life. He owned and operated Allshouse Auto Service for almost 15 years. Prior to that he worked with the family business, the Supersonic Car Wash. He was a member of First Baptist Church. He is survived by his wife of 30 years, Linda K. (Bergdorf) Allshouse of the home, his sons, Daniel Rowley of Massillon, Mark Allshouse of Massillon, Mike Allshouse of Atlanta, GA and Chris (Julia) Allshouse of North Canton. Also surviving are 7 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild. A memorial service will take place on Tuesday at 1:00 P.M. at First Baptist Church with Dr. Roger Alber officiating.
